What We'll Cover

You made it through recital season. Before you jump into planning for next year, ask yourself this: do you know what it actually costs to run a single class?

In 60 minutes, Teri Mangiaratti and Shannon Wilson will walk you through the exact math to calculate your true cost per lesson, determine your group class break-even point, and gain the financial clarity to plan next season with confidence. No accounting degree required.

What You'll Learn

  • How to calculate the true cost of running each class
  • The simple burn-rate math that shows what every lesson costs you, step by step
  • The break-even formula for group classes: how many students a class needs before it covers its costs
  • The income streams worth a closer look (registration fees, summer programs, intensives, costumes, mini sessions, and recitals)
  • How to model next season: what raising tuition, adding lessons, or trimming expenses does for the health of your studio

Who This Is For

Dance studio owners and directors who want clarity on pricing and the health of their studio before they lock in next season's plan. Whether you review your numbers every month or tend to avoid them, you'll leave with a practical framework you can put to use right away.
